The Case Study Dowel Bar Stool Base has a steel frame and solid maple or solid North American walnut dowels. The wire frame is available in chrome-plated steel and black powder-coated steel. This base features a 360-degree swivel seat.
Pair this base with a fiberglass shell chair, a wire seat, or purchase the base for a vintage shell. Many of Modernica's bases are compatible with vintage Herman Miller fiberglass shells.
