DESCRIPTION
The Dayton Superior 4"x4" Shore Clamp is designed to be used hundreds of times. The simple design consists of a rectangular collar of high strength rod and two pivotal, heavy-duty malleable castings. The plates have grooves scored into the surface for gripping the 4"x4". A hammer lug is provided to seat the clamp once the shore is installed. The 4"x4" Shore Clamp is designed to be used with standard 4"x4" lumber.
SPECIAL NOTES
Attachment to the 4"x4" lumber:
Start by slipping the clamp onto the 4"x4" 14" from the end.
The second clamp is attached 2" from the end, making the clamps 12" apart.
Dayton Superior recommends screws or nails to attach the clamps, prevent missing parts and provide for multiple reuse.
4"x4" shore clamps are stocked 20 in a bag, and 800 on a skid.
