The upheaval of the Warring States period during the Zhou Dynasty resulted in dramatic art forms. This distinctive round mirror owes its inspiration to the striking pieces of that time. Painstakingly hand-crafted in copper repousse, the wide, concave fluting of its frame peak and curl delicately, encircling the mirror in elegant waves that reflect the gradations of light created by the irregular hand-hammered texture.
