Description

With more than 20 years experience, Pallas Textiles— named after Pallas Athena, the Greek Goddess of Weaving—knows how to create textiles that fuse the ancient art of weaving with leading-edge manufacturing technologies. The result is a line of fabrics “that are timeless yet continually evolving in color, pattern and texture.”

  • Valetudo — A collection of healthcare fabrics, Valetudo complements products in the Vivendi resilient floor collection by Mannington Commercial. The three fabrics in Valetudo—Arbor, Flora, and Stratum—are “inspired by the idea that a healthy lifestyle is a balance of mind, body and spirit.” Based on natural elements, Valetudo patterns add a calm and beautiful accent to patient rooms. The fabrics, which are constructed with 100% Trevira FR Polyester, are available in eight colors: Griseus, Natura, Terra, Canarius, Festivus, Viridis, Azureus, and Viola.
  • Springtime in Paris — This collection of five fabrics takes its cue from springtime in the city of lights: “The patterns draw from the lush gardens, busy boulevards and historic architecture of its namesake city.” Tulips, Le Fleur, Boulevard, Promenade, and Carousel made up this surprising and energetic line that has both bold prints and subtle designs. Tulips features fine lines and polka dots in different sizes, lovely expressionistic references to the colorful bloom found in the Tuileries Garden. The elegant Promenade is a soft fabric of subtle stripes that combines chenille, boucle, spun, and filament yarns. Bamboo-based, Promenade is a Crypton Green® upholstery.
  • Science Matters — The five patterns of Science Matters “explore the wonder of human biology and celebrate the ritual of discovery.” H2O, Gene Pool, Flexing Muscles, Heartbeat, and Cell Theory may appear to be simple, but they hide “a beautiful complexity” in design, meaning, and construction. H2O has a deceptive sheen that disguises layers of hexagonal shapes “inspired by the chemical composition of water.” This fabric is treated with Greenshield, an environmentally safe high-performance nanotechnology that incorporates spill and stain resistance into the fabric. Cell Theory is a large-scale pattern of repeating circles meant to represent cells under magnification. The satin finish harbors an eco-conscious secret: Cell Theory includes 22% post-consumer recycled polyester. All Science Matters textiles are high-performance, making them suited for corporate, hospitality, and healthcare applications.
