What are workspaces?

Workspaces are the best way to manage, share, and discuss products with team members and clients. Now designers can name projects and keep all parties updated on progress and goals in one efficient forum.

How do I create a workspace?

Workspaces are great for keeping a constant flow of communication from designer to client and colleagues. To create a workspace, simply login to your account, and click the 'workspaces' tab. Select 'create a new workspace' and follow the prompts for completing the form correctly.

How can I add products to my workspace?

Adding products to a workspace allows designers to showcase items that may be up for consideration in a current project. To add products to a workspace, select the desired product from the product listings, and click 'add to workspace.' Follow the prompts to place the product in the proper workspace, or even create a new workspace if needed.

Can other designers see my workspaces?

Designer Pages provides you with entirely secure workspaces, such to protect your information. You must invite other designers to collaborate or view your workspaces in order for them to have access to your work.

How can I invite team members to a workspace?

Designers are encouraged to invite team members and colleagues who are collaborating on projects. To invite them, simply open the workspace and type the name of the contact you wish to invite in the 'invite' search box. If you are trying to share this project with someone outside the Designer Pages community, we will send an invitation to their email account.

How can I post comments on my workspaces?

Add comments about products or relevant design elements to initiate discussion. This is a place to provoke thought and gather feedback. To post a comment on one of your workspaces, open the 'discussion' tab within the desired workspace and click 'post a comment.'

Can other people post comments on my workspaces?

The only other community members who can post comments on your workspaces are those you've invited to share in your project.

How can I control what my team members can do?

As the workspace creator, you can assign permissions to all team members within your workspace. Here's how it works. An admin can do anything you can do such as update workspace settings, invite additional team members, and manage user permissions. A collaborator can add or remove products, but nothing more. A guest can only view products that have already been contributed to the workspace, but cannot make any changes at all.

How many workspaces can I create in my account?

The free Designer Pages account provides designers with as many workspaces as needed. There is no limit and never a charge for creating and managing workspaces.

How can I delete a workspace?

To delete a workspace, simply open the workspace you wish to delete and click the 'delete this workspace' option. Only an administrator of a workspace can delete the workspace. Deletion is permanent, and the workspace will not be recoverable after it has been deleted.

What are tags?

Within a workspace, you can tag products, which is like assigning a keyword. Tags help you group products that have something in common.
